The Last One!

It is hard to believe that we have come to the end of the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge, CCC#35!  There have been 35 Tim Holtz technique challenges; we have been working our way through his Compendium of Curiosities book since June.  Amazing!  The final challenge is Design Details and I have loaded lots of ephemera onto the cover page of my technique book.

Linda Ledbetter has been the fabulous hostess for this challenge on her blog, Studio L3.  Thank you, Linda, for keeping the challenges going all of these weeks and for all of your inspiration - it has been great!  Thanks for looking and do hop over to Studio L3 to check out all of the wonderful submissions.  Cheers!

CCC #34 Dimensional Collage Fragments

Dimensional Collage Fragments is the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge this week.  Well, I had my fragment made about six days ago and have just had some time this afternoon to put it onto a page.  Where does time go?  I built the collage on some thin newsprint paper and made it into a fragment.  Then I used alcohol inks to make the background, add some stamps and there you have it.  This is challenge #34, hard to believe we started this last June!  Do hop over to Linda's blog, Studio L3, and check out all of the fabulous entries.  Thanks for looking - cheers!

Take A Word - Birdlife

This week the challenge for Take A Word is 'Birdlife.'  I had just finished my March calendar for my fridge (6 days late, but who is counting?) when I saw the challenge posted for this week - Yeah, I will actually be ready for a challenge on time!  I pieced together some leftover strips of paper, added some spring stamps and my little calendar.  We are having a glorious spring-like day here on the Pacific West Coast; there is lots of bird action in our backyard today.  Enjoy - Thanks for looking!
