TGIF - Pear
The challenge yesterday on TGIF was Apples, Pears and Peaches; create something using these fruits. I was rummaging in my odd bits box again and came up with this decoupaged pear from a dinner napkin. The writing around the edge is this nursery rhyme -
I had a little nut tree, and nothing it would bear
But a silver nutmeg and a golden pear.
The King of Spain's daughter came to visit me,
And all for the sake of my little nut tree.
I skipped over water, I danced over sea
And all the birds up in the air couldn't catch me.
I think I was getting it mixed up with Peter, Peter, Pumpkin eater; oh well!
Thanks for looking, have a great day! Cheers.
