The theme on Saturday Surprise is 'Favourite Colour.' I always say blue is my favourite colour, but when I opened up my bit box for some collage pieces I realized that Turquoise Blue is my true favourite colour, (or Lake Blue according to this paint chip). It is definitely my favourite summer colour; this summer I did a load of my summer tops and when I hung them all up to dry I could see that more than half of them were turquoise blue. It could have something to do with growing up in a kitchen that had turquoise blue cupboards! It was my Mom's favourite colour too. Have a lovely day, I hope the sky is this colour wherever you are. ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous colour - must admit that teal (or any shade of it) IS my favourite colour, so this really is to my taste. The shade you've chosen is very gentle and serene - beautiful. I also own most of those stamps...

ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful collage! I love turquoise also, and even though I can't say that I have an actual favorite color, there is a Pantone shade of turquoise called "aquafer" that is just gorgeous and is really close to the shades you've used! This is beautiful!
