OK, there is busy and then there is BUSY!!! The challenge on Theme Thursday this week is 'Busy.' You can interpret it any way you want and there are some wonderful entries, do check them out.The first thing that came to my mind was this piece in my stash box that I had never figured out what to do with. I originally put this together for a Sunday Postcard Art challenge - 'Botanical.' It was one of those pieces that you keep adding more to as you are trying to save it but it keeps getting worse! I didn't like it because it was too busy! I remember I went back to the drawing board and created another piece very quickly that I was happy with. I don't let myself toss these disasters because eventually I can pull them out and the perfect solution presents itself and all is saved - not this one!
So, I have debated all day whether to put this on or not; I still don't like it, but it fits the challenge to a T. Anyway, here it is for all to see - Cheers!

ReplyDeleteTerrific save, Rhonda! You are indeed a woman after my own heart. So many times I keep stuff I know others would have discarded. Then I usually end up using pieces of it in other art where it works out much better.
