I received the most amazing gift in the mail today! Amazing in so many ways, it was totally unexpected and for no occasion, this gorgeous card and necklace created by my very good friend, Donna, just because she was thinking of me! Little did she know, I was thinking of her too. On the inside of the beautiful easel card she said that she misses our play time together - I just said the same thing to my husband this morning! We only live about two hours away including a short ferry trip but we don't seem to get the chance to make the journey as often as we'd like.
A hummingbird is a very special symbol to me, it invokes the spirit of my amazing mother who we lost two years ago next week. This gift fills me with love; love for my Mom and love for a very special friend - thank you Donna, you are an amazing artist and an inspiration, hope to see you soon. Love you lots.
