CCC #5 - Distress Powder

Week 5 of the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge at Studio L3 and this week it is "Distress Powder."  This is a great way to add grunge to your work.  I used Vintage Photo, Milled Lavender and Old Paper inks and distress powders.  The Old Paper distress powder turned out quite green and the milled lavender seemed to all come off but left some colour on the paper.  I think with grunge even the unexpected adds to the look. This is a fun challenge, do check out some of the amazing entries on Linda's blog - Cheers!

  3. It's stunning, Rhonda! I really love the colors you chose for this piece-- they're soft and just right for the imagery and sentiment. You aced the Distress Powder technique, too. The extra texture looks great!

Have I ever mentioned how much I like your blog background? It's just darling!
