Well, it is almost time for the next Compendium of Curiosities Challenge at Studio L3, mere minutes remain for this last week's entries but I have made it by the skin of my teeth! I am currently camping on beautiful Salt Spring Island on the west coast of British Columbia and through a great deal of perseverance, my husband, Randy, has managed to bring up the internet!
I had planned all week to get this piece together before we left. I got as far as putting the dictionary page onto the grungeboard pieces but with all the flurry of trying to pack our new trailer, taking our neice to Cirque du Soleil for her birthday and family stuff it did not get further than that. So, today I spent the afternoon at the campsite doing crafts! How fun is that?
The challenge was Mixed Media Collage. So, I used medium gel to adhere the paper, lots of Distress Inks, some great TH stamps - of course they came camping with me! - and some of my new tissue tape.
Thanks for looking and between visiting wineries and cheese factories will try to post another entry this week. Cheers!

Very lovely, just love that vintage look, a lot of distress ink is a good thing huh? Love it!
ReplyDeleteRhonda, it's absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so glad-- and in awe!-- that you were able to post it from your campsite! Way to go! And bravo to your husband, too!
ReplyDeleteI love the bird nest and the lovely, soft colors you used, and your Multi-Medium technique is perfect. It's collage perfection!
Enjoy the rest of your trip, eat lots of cheese and drink lots of wine, and I'll look forward to seeing what you do for Challenge 7!
Fabulous, Annette x
