CCC #27 Distress Misting Mask

Week 27, hard to believe that the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge has been going that long!  This week we are to mask and mist and distress.  I used a big flourish and a little flourish mask on this piece.  Unfortunately, by the time I stamped it, you can't see the masked areas, which is entirely the point of the exercise!  Sheesh!  I tried to leave more showing, but it looked NEKKID!  It really did...oh well, I tried and I do love the shimmer.  Make sure you jump over to our lovely host, Linda's blog, Studio L3, and see all the wonderful examples of  what this technique should look like!  Thanks for looking - cheers!

  4. Rhonda, I LOVE the unexpected combination of steampunk imagery and soft, feminine colors on this piece! How pretty and inspiring! The masking is perfect-- it's integrated into the overall look, and that's a great way to use it! The stamps you chose are fabulous too. This is really sweet, and I'm glad your gentleman didn't end up nekkid! ;-)
